Snared - A Cynical Take On Love Relationships:

Riya:

Riya is a sociopath. She has little in the way of caring for others or even for herself. She views each day as a slog and only lives to get to the next to fulfill some kind of expectation of life.  One night as she works late making art for a client, she goes out for an energy drink only to end up in a chance encounter with her stalker Kira.

Said chance encounter ends with Kira on the ground after drugging Riya. Needless to say, Riya who already hates people has an extreme distaste for most people wants nothing to do with the extremely psychotic Kira.

Doing whatever she can Riya's goal is to find a way to get rid of her newly acquired nuisance. 

Or I mean I guess if you want you could try really hard and accept him.

Kira:

A hospital resident by day and Riya's psychopathic stalker by night, Kira is an awkward, lanky, scruffy man in his early 20's. 

He noticed Riya after a chance encounter one night where after 1 glance he became obsessed. Every day he couldn't help but think about how she would smell, how her skin would feel, how she would act. 

His obsession gets to a boiling point where one night being unable to handle it anymore, he steals sedative from the hospital he residents and stalks Riya, planning to make her, his.

Features?

So far the game is quite short but here is the list of current features:

• No Endings (Yet; they're in development)
• Packed Full With Animations
• It's a Kinetic Novel (Basically means you can make decisions.)
• Brimmed to the pack with dark humor!
• 10-ish minutes of content (If you go and read all dialogue.)
• Plenty of artwork by me 
• Unique background visuals that give the game a unique feel.

Plans?

• I plan for this game to end up being a fully-fledged visual novel with 10(? maybe more) ending in total. I plan for each ending to be about 1-2 hours long. 
• I will also be posting regular updates, and I won't make this game a monetized experience until about the first 3 endings are added.  After that I'll keep that version of the game free, but all future updates will come with a price tag (Like $5? I think that's fair and maybe like $10 for the final release.).
•  I want to be as transparent with any kind of community that (hopefully) forms around this game. 
• Also, if anyone is kind enough to actually donate to the project all profits will go to progressing the project (mostly sweet, sweet coffee since I already handle all the assets.). 
• Now on the subject of NSFW... it is coming, so always check in on the game for updates! But for right now my methodology is story first other stuff later. I'm most interested in making a product that can stand on it's own without having to rely on people getting the game just to see 3 total minutes of people getting it on. 

Inspirations?

• Honestly the primary inspiration for this game was Class of '09 (As if my writing didn't make that obvious 😬).  
• This game will be very, very, very different from that visual novel however but I expect fans of that to enjoy this project as well :)

Okay but totally check out Class of '09 it's so friggin good.
